On my travels, I used to take my bulky Sony Laptop with me. It was convenient to write my blog post and also work on my website. My laptop was 6 years old and was getting a bit slow. I decided to switch over to the Apple iPad. I loved it because it’s easier to carry, its compact and performs almost like a laptop. The Apple Ipad was working out fine but I got a little bit frustrated because it was not as flexible as a laptop.
I was looking for a laptop that would perform all the functions but was easy and light to carry around. After painstaking research and reviews, I decided to buy the Acer 14 Chrome Book. I find I can write two posts in a day by using the Google doc recording tool. Once I have done my research on a product it’s so simple to speak on the Google doc recording and talk about the product review. It cuts my time in half

What is an Acer Chrome Book?
A Chromebook is a laptop running the Linux-based Chrome OS as its operating system. In other words, its the essential center of a computer operating system, that provides basic services for all other parts of the operating system. The devices are used mainly to perform a number of tasks using the Google Chrome browser.
From a design point of view, I found it sleek and stylish with an aluminium front and back. It has a mac look an feel to it. Its light and thin like an Apple Laptop. It looks expensive and pleasing to the eye it’s not a clumsy laptop.
It has the standard ports on one side with two USB ports and one HDMI slot on the left side. On the right side, we have the power and combo microphone headphone. The base has two speakers. There is no SD card slot which feels a bit limited and may put you off from buying the Acer Chrome.
The display is a delightful fourteen-inch size screen with a matt finish. The keyboard is standard with a chrome finish with a full-size chrome pad. Overall I liked the feel of my chrome laptop it feels solid. Its affordable and I think its good value for money. It performs well in the Google Chrome browser.
In a nutshell, it all depends on what you looking for. I use it mostly for my internet business and have had no problems when working on my Wordpress website. There is a lot I need to figure out with the Acer 14 but pleasantly surprised with the results. The Acer Chromebook 14 battery life is amazing. I get about 14 – 16 hours use from one single charge.
Its got a great tactile feel to it, and I am beginning to get used to my Acer Chrome. It has its limitations but from a price point its an excellent buy. It’s not the best chrome book but I would say its affordable and won’t break the bank. I love it!
