Being as I don’t have kids I can’t really say I can relate, but these are some great tips to keep in mind for when I get older.
I think like you said the important thing is to try and talk to your kids each week to see how they are doing — then enjoy being with your spouse doing things y’all enjoy.
By always starting active and not just sitting around he house — I believe you won’t have as much time to be sad and worrisome.
We all go through the empty nest syndrome but – You still have a life to lead. I call it bonus time for enjoying your days and packing as much as you can into one day. I have wonderful memories of my children and thanks to skype and whatsapp I can see and speak to them as if they were in the house.
